Grady Garrison moved to Home Gardens in the fall of 1969. He and his wife Cathy have one son named Grady Matthew. Grady Matthew went to Home Gardens Elementary School, Auburndale Junior High and graduated from Corona High School in 1985.

Since 1985 Grady has owned Grady Garrison Inc. Paint & Auto body in Corona. He has been a member of Home Gardens Sanitary District Board for over 20 years and enjoys being part of the local community and hopes to continually serve it.

Karen Samson Runion served in the United States Marine Corps for 12 years before transitioning to civilian life in California. She and her husband, John, reside in their Home Gardens property purchased over 30 years ago. They have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren.

Karen is a volunteer with the Riverside Master Gardener Program and on staff with the Council on Aging, Southern CA as a Long Term Care Ombudsman. She recently joined the Women’s Improvement Club of Corona. Her service to the Home Gardens Sanitary District began in 2014.

Miguel Serrato has been a resident of Home Gardens since 1977. He and his wife have been married for over 25 years and have 3 children and 2 adorable granddaughters.

Miguel has also owned a local business since 1991, where he is able to help the community with his services. Miguel follows what his father instilled in him while growing up; Treat everyone with respect, be fair and honest.

Miguel has served on the Home Gardens Sanitary Board since 2017.

Salvador Cacho has been a resident of Home Gardens since 1966. He migrated from Mexico at the age of 12 and started working in the surrounding area’s onion crops. He and his wife Genevieve have 5 adult children all living in the Home Gardens and Corona areas. Salvador later became a Naturalized United States citizen and went on to serve as a Correctional Officer for the California Department of Corrections. He has been a retired Correctional Officer since 2010.

As the result of his concern for the quality of life in the Home Gardens area, Salvador joined the Home Gardens Sanitary District Board in 2015. Salvador joined the Board to ensure a better quality of life for its citizens.

Efrain Barajas is a lifelong resident of Home Gardens. He and his wife Araceli have 2 children all living in Home Gardens. Since 1986 Efrain and his family have operated a concrete casting business in Home Gardens.

As a business owner/operator and resident in Home Gardens, Efrain would like to maintain a good quality of life for its citizens. For that reason, Efrain has served on the Board of the Home Gardens Sanitary District since 2014.
